ATL

The school has been selected by NITI Aayog, Government of India for the prestigious “Atal Tinkering Laboratories” which has been established in the school. The funding of the Laboratories has been made by NITI Aayog alongwith resources from the school side. The purpose of the project is to drive an innovative mindset and culture in the children and encourage students towards ideation, brainstorming and building prototype solutions – a very purposeful need of modern time.

LANGUAGE LABORATORY

In the present era Language Laboratory has been much felt in the domain of communication. We live in a multilingual and multicultural world, which is being shrunk to the size of a village by the advancement of science and technology. The electronic devices used in the laboratory will stimulate the eyes and ears of the learner to acquire the language quickly and easily. The language laboratory exists to help one to use technology effectively to communicate. Modern English School, Jeypore has been extensively using Language Lab following the parameters of CBSE in assessing the students since 2012. lt is not merely for learning a single language, but can be used for teaching a number of languages efficiently. To acquire a sensibility for the sounds and rhythm of a language, one has to hear the best samples of a spoken language, get trained by the faculty and record the same with the help of a tool in the Language Lab and keep on polishing the language for the best output.

MATHEMATICS LABORATORY

Another milestone in the journey of academic excellence has been set up in the form of mathematics laboratory in the year 2019 The sole aim of this Mathematics Laboratory is to supplement practical understanding of the core concepts learnt in the theoretical classes . In this Math Lab Students are encouraged to broaden and widen their mathematical horizon which is an essential element so far as the cracking of national level entrances like IIT by the students is concerned. This Lab also tries to implement the concept of “Learning by doing” to its true spirit
